And here, the final part of my annual Nocturne Collection. This offering is comprised primarily of intricately patterned copper leaves and the leafless trees of autumn.

And of course labradorites. Labradorites in a kaleidoscope of color. Some have a soft, smokey surface where to color is furtive and secretive. Others have a color that is bright and searing. Some gemstones are striated with surface imperfections, and others are smooth and liquidy.

I try to work with these colors and textures every autumn, and miss them dearly in all the in-between time. I hope you love these creations as much as I loved making them.

“My sorrow, when she’s here with me,
Thinks these dark days of autumn rain
Are beautiful as days can be;
She loves the bare, the withered tree;
She walks the sodden pasture lane.”
– from “My November Guest” by Robert Frost

A ring for walks in sodden forests. A stone to sing to each heart.

Gently hugging the labradorites are sweet little copper leaves with leaf-print taken from real leaves.

The gemstones are set atop triple half-round bands split and flared for stability atop the hand.

Tapered bands keep the rings from spinning around on the finger.

Leafless Dim Earrings
There will be (9) pairs available.
Price: $97

“Her pleasure will not let me stay.
She talks and I am fain to list:
She’s glad the birds are gone away,
She’s glad her simple worsted grey
Is silver now with clinging mist.”
– from “My November Guest” by Robert Frost

The beauty of a leafless November to carry through the day.

These earrings feature intricately cut leafless trees set against a dark shadowy background.

And suspended below the trees are sparkling black druzy teardrops, like slices of the night sky.

Earrings measure about 60mm from the top of the earwires to the bottom of the teardrop.

Autumn Moon Necklaces
There will be (13) necklaces available.
Price: $164 – $174

“The desolate, deserted trees,
The faded earth, the heavy sky,
The beauties she so truly sees,
She thinks I have no eye for these,
And vexes me for reason why.”
– from “My November Guest” by Robert Frost

Labradorites in all schillers and color arrays, some smokey and furtive, others bold as a crack of lightning. Soft lavenders and snakey greens and wisps of gray.

Each flashing labradorite gemstone is held by straight sterling silver bezel.

The back of the pendant features a cluster of stars and a crescent moon window showing the backs of the stones.

Some of the windows will flash brightly, and others remain dark and mysterious.

The gemstones are suspended from hand-forged sterling silver branches, carefully textured and oxidized to look like a late-autumn reaching branch.

And along the branch are carefully placed sawn copper leaves with a leaf-print taken from real leaves.

It will come to you suspended from an oxidized sterling silver chain, total length (including the branch) will be adjustable between 16″ – 19″.

“Not yesterday I learned to know
The love of bare November days
Before the coming of the snow,
But it were vain to tell her so,
And they are better for her praise.”
– from “My November Guest” by Robert Frost

Each flashing labradorite gemstone is held by straight sterling silver bezel.

Surrounding the gemstones are hand-textured branch borders.

And gently draping over the stones are carefully sawn copper leaves with a leaf-print taken from real leaves.

The backs of the pendants feature carefully sawn leafless trees revealing the backs of the stones.

As with the moon pendants, some of the windows reveal bright, flashing labradorite backs, while others remain dark and furtive.

This pendants have been aged and hand-polished for a textured, organic look.
And to bring out the lowlights and accent the stone.
And with these pieces, that’s everything that will be in this year’s Nocturne offering!
