For this Snow Moon offering, I wanted to keep these designs very understated. Simple and straight-forward with flush edges and clean lines. Design-wise, they are as gentle as moonlight. But in all the corners and hidden places, I tucked a bit of rough winter magic.
I have always been drawn to textures that make the jewelry look as though they’ve been plucked the surface of the moon or unfurled from a birch leave. Organically textured rings and necklaces that look as though they tumbled into the world fully formed.
And so for these pieces, I have made them with a bit of moon dust by fusing silver dust that I’ve carefully collected from over the years.
How lovely to think that these rings are accented with the silver dust from thousands of pieces I’ve made in years past. They are intrinsically connected to countless other designs and collections. What a wonderful thought!
Since I hadn’t worked with moonstone for several years, I had forgotten how tricky it is to photograph moonstone. To be able to see the rainbow schiller in photographs, I needed the perfect dim light at the exact time of day so that the light would make the blue shimmer dance across the surface.
And because of the dim light, the photos are soft and dreamy looking. I tried my best to capture their beauty, but just know, the flash in most of the stones is more dynamic and beautiful in person!

Rings made of shimmering rainbow moonstone in a range of shapes and hues, so that you may find the exact ring that sings to you.
Each ring features one smooth moonstone gemstone simple set in a straight bezel.
The gemstones vary in their cuts, schiller, and hue. Some with a soft shimmer that dances only in the perfect light, staying icy white at all other times. Other gemstones announce themselves boldly, commanding attention to all their wintery magic.
They are set atop rectangle bands that I have accented with silver dust I have carefully fused to the surface. Each band is utterly unique.

Similar to the rings, the gemstones all vary widely.
Some are dainty and small, easily tucked under a sweater and worn every day.
Others are bold and sparkling, pleading with the wearer to bathe in moonlight. A necklace for every personality.
Each necklace features a smooth moonstone gemstone, set in a straight bezel without border or adornment.
But the backs of the pendants have a secret just for the wearer. Small brushed moons are set amidst a sprinkling of fused silver dust.
To me, the backs look simultaneously like the rough moon dust, as well as a field of stars set against the night sky.
And built into the chain, one single star shimmering against the skin.
