In the beginning of my metalsmithing work, I only created Made to Order listings, which I loved. To be able to work on pieces knowing who they were destined for, whispering words of friendship into each of the solder joins, is a magical way to create art.
But as time went on, I began to prefer ready to ship pieces, so you could see the exact piece and stone with all it’s quirks before purchasing. And this is still my preferred way of creating work.
However, with this collection, I could see that I was not going to have enough time to get to all the designs that have been waiting patiently in my sketchbook for the past eight years, unless I offered a handful as Made to Order.
And so there will be! There will be a few designs that will only be offered as Made to Order, rings and earrings that will be made specially for you.
Each of these Made to Order listings will have a very limited availability, as I have limited gemstones and time to create them amidst upcoming collections.
So if you see a listing as still up, it means I have at least one more custom spot left for it.
In most cases, the garnets, turquoises, and carnelians will be randomly selected, but I will try to choose stones that are the exact same size and shape, and as close to the same color, as the stones in the sample pictures. If you have strong gemstone preferences, please reach out prior to purchase. ♡
All Made to Order purchases will be fabricated and shipped in the order of purchase, so expect a 6 – 10 week turnaround.

Quietude Ring s

A ring made of golden hour calm and bluebird skies, neither to be withered by winter. They will balance on your hand as long as you like.
These rings are made from unique cuts of turquoise, some faceted, others smooth, and in as many shapes as I could find.
Most of them feature soft robin’s egg blue turquoise, but there are some with bits of summery green in them as well.
Each ring features a turquoise gemstone and a tiny brass flower set on either side of a split textured rectangle ring band.
It is easily adjustable, and the sizes listed are as read on the mandrel without adjusting. So look for your usual size, or slightly smaller as the bands can be opened up.
Golden Hour Earrings

These earrings are comprised of carefully sawn brass suns that have been lightly textured and given a matte finish.
Below the suns are sweet little oval turquoise gemstones.

You will get to choose your exact stone for this ring, since all the stones are very different.

A ring for gathering the last of the summer flowers.
A wide band ring available in jewelers brass or sterling silver.
Each ring has two beautiful coneflowers carved into the surface of the band, and the surface has been lightly textured for an organic look.
Set atop a wide rectangle band, fits snug, so please order 1/2 – 1 full size larger than your usual ring size.
The brass ring will have a a layer of sterling silver inside the ring to help mitigate discoloration of the skin, as brass contains copper which reacts with moisture and can tarnish. But be sure to regularly clean your jewelry to also help prevent discoloration.
Bluebird Skies Rings

The tops of the rings range between 1.5″ – 2″ from top to bottom.

Soft, clear skies stretching into the heights, the blue of tiny robin’s eggs tucked in the shadows, these rings are made of the blues of summer.
These rings are made from an assortment of turquoise gemstones, each ring featuring an entirely unique collection.
Some are smooth, others are faceted.
There are soft greens and saturated blues.
They are set atop a split triple half-round band for stability and comfort.
Lilting Bower Earrings

earwire to the bottom of the gemstone.

Long, romantic earrings for late summer garden walks.
These earrings are comprised of sterling silver hammered branches affixed with brass flowers.
Dangling at the center of the curved branch is a swooping swallow that sways gently while being worn.
And below the branches are smooth turquoise and faceted hessonite garnet gemstones.
Pocketful of Summer Necklace

An echo of the wintery version of this from several years ago, this necklace is a collection of the loveliest colors and textures of summer.
Greens and blues that stretch and fade into one another, bright glowing orange berries, glinting gold trembling in a breeze, and swallows to mark the days.
These necklaces all feature an oval focal hessonite garnet gemstone, surrounded by petals of turquoise, all very different in cut, color, shape, and matrix, as unique as it’s wearer.
On the backs of the pendants are secret bird silhouettes, eternally sailing through the air.
Built into the chain are polished hammered brass teardrops to catch the light.

Some are a soft, smooth blue, others are faceted with fascinating matrices.
The rings have been polished and simply set atop half-round bands for comfort.

Each ring has two swooping swallows softly shadowed and flying up towards a lovely Kingman turquoise gemstone, and the surface has been lightly textured for an organic look.
(The stones for these rings will be randomly selected, because I have a handful of Kingman turquoise in the same cut and color as the sample ring.)

Earrings for soaring atop mountaintop winds and floating in front of the glittering sun.
These earrings are made from unique turquoise gemstones suspended below hammered discs made of jewelers brass.
And in front of each shimmering sun is a sterling silver swallow silhouette.
